This method works for most of the Maytag models like Centennial, Whirlpool, Bravo, etc. After which you can press ‘start’ and the machine will start to calibrate and reset all the codes. After this step, you need to turn the dial counterclockwise four times or till only the light indicating ‘rinse’ is lit. If they don’t then you should repeat the whole process at varying speeds. If you have done this right, the lights at the bottom of the dial will start blinking. Turn it clockwise once and then counterclockwise once, bringing the dial back at the 3 o’clock position. After that, turn the dial clockwise for only three settings so that the dial is now at the 3 o’clock position. Then turn the dial counterclockwise making one full rotation and coming back to the ‘normal’ position. To do that you have to first make sure that the main dial is at its standard ‘normal’ position. One of the ways you can reset your Maytag washer is by rotating the main dial in a specific order.

If that doesn’t work then you can further try the other methods.

One of the first and simplest ways you can rest your washer is by unplugging it for around 15 seconds.
